Process Engineer
Seprotech is a provider of pre-engineered water and wastewater treatment solutions to the municipal/land development, resource sector and military market place, including Reverse Osmosis water purification systems, ROTORDISK® biological sewage treatment package plants and CrystalBlue™ membrane-based water recycling systems. Seprotech designs, builds and delivers water and wastewater treatment Solutions around the world and is looking to add additional staff to be based in its Ottawa Head Office.
The Process Engineer position is for an experienced Chemical or Environmental Engineer. This position will support the work required on a long term contract with the Federal government. The Engineer will be responsible for the design and analysis of process equipment relating to:
- Membrane based water and wastewater technology;
- Research and Development of water purification, wastewater treatment, and sludge dewatering processes and equipment;
- Membrane based purification, MF, UF and RO.
- Product Testing and Certifications
- Employment experience in Process definition through to process implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering from accredited University.
- Professional Engineering License or ability to get License an asset.
- Knowledge of water and wastewater regulatory environment.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD®and MS Office®
- Proficiency with 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks®.

Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Process Engineer position is for an experienced Mechanical Engineer. This position will support the work required on a long term contract with the Federal government. The Engineer will be responsible for the design and analysis of mechanical equipment relating to:
- Membrane based water and wastewater technology;
- Membrane and system hydraulics;
- Surface water and sea water pre-filtration systems;
- Piping and system configuration;
- Process control and instrumentation relating to the biological treatment of wastewater;
- Will work closely with Process Engineering and the Sales Department to meet specific project requirements;
- Research and Development of water purification, wastewater treatment, and sludge dewatering processes and equipment;
- Process control and instrumentation for mobile equipment;
- Design calculations tanks, vessels, pumps ect.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from accredited University.
- Professional Engineering License or ability to get License an asset.
- Knowledge of water and wastewater regulatory environment.
- Knowledge of steel fabrication and shop management practices.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD® and MS Office®
- Proficiency with 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks® and FEA tools an asset.

Electrical Engineer

Seprotech designs, builds and delivers water and wastewater treatment Solutions around the world and is looking to add additional staff to be based in its Ottawa Head Office.
The Electrical Engineer position is for an experienced Electrical Engineer. This position will support the work required on a long term contract with the Federal government. The Engineer will be responsible for the design and analysis of electrical equipment relating to:
- Process control and instrumentation;
- Electrical Panel and system configuration and layout;
- Will work closely with Process Engineering and the Sales Department to meet specific project requirements;
- Panel manufacturing, wiring, material specifications;
- PLC Control and programming - SCADA, Motor Controls, MCC’s, VFD’s HMI’s and TVSS.
- Diesel generator systems, remote power systems integration;
- Harmonics, IEEE519 standards; and,
- Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from accredited University.
- Professional Engineering License or ability to get License an asset.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD® and MS Office®
- Proficiency with 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks® and FEA tools an asset.

Field Service Representative

Qualifications
- A thorough knowledge or understanding of water and wastewater process fundamentals such as the nature of pollutants, the significance of their concentration in water and the technologies available to remove them.
- Ability to understand and operate the various components necessary, to achieve water and wastewater treatment.
